Where before a music listener in India would have used local services for local music and an international provider to hear the latest American hits for example, now their exact needs can be provided for in one place. A UK hits channel is 100% relevant in the UK but a pop fan in Berlin wants to hear the international songs that are big in Germany, mixed with the domestic hits that make up the rest of their national charts.

Along with the Astra 48 mass distribution channel bouquet, Music Choice can further deliver localised bespoke channels via a Local Playout Server (LPS) installed in partner platforms headends. This pioneering internal technology was deployed initially in March 2006 after a long development schedule with Hewlett- Packard. This world leading system allows any channel to be updated in a matter of minutes by our London based team, more quickly and cost efficiently than any other music provider in the world.
